Death of a Hard Drive and Town Square Quickie

My external hard drive bit the dust last week. It takes me a solid 4 days of careful copying from one drive to another to make sure I don't lose any files during the backup process of approximately 6TB (aka terabytes). That's a lot of data. As I am wrapping that up, I am posting a vintage undated image of Town Square from the 1950's. It amazes whenever I see photos of the park, both past & present, devoid of people. Nowadays that's a rare occasion. I would hazard a guess that this was taken early morning on a winter day, since you rarely see this kind of gray (and coats) at any other time of the year in Southern California.

Note the little girl in the bright red coat and the Mickey Mouse ears as well as the attractive auburn hair amateur photographer on the right (wonder where those photos are today?):

Although the Square might be relatively empty, the ticket booth up at the Main Street Train Station is full of guests waiting to buy their ticket to the board the train.

Yes newbies...you once had to buy a ticket for every attraction.

Think of me while I spend the rest of my day examining 6TB worth of information.

See more vintage & current Town Square at Disneyland photos on my Town Square web pages.

Nice photo today. I like the zoom of the little girl in red coat wearing mouse ears and the female photographer. You never know, but the photos may already be in your collection.

Here's hoping you have luck and success with your data rescue today. 6TB is definitely a lot of data.
