Any shot of the Moonliner gets a "thumbs up" from me!
Awesome HOTF Photo, nice and sharp! That silly little drinking fountain looks rather popular - the block step does have a futuristic touch to it and painting the supply pipe deep red was pure genius....Great photos - love all the clothes thanks!
I could KICK myself for not going into the House of the Future when I had the chance...or should I say chances. God, I was a stupid kid!
I too noticed the polychromatic plumbery and was struck with awe.Connie: Don't feel bad, I only have one memory of HOTF, and that's the spill-pan fountain in the garden. I wish I had come away with something more interesting.
GREAT pictures - I always enjoy seeing them - but color is so fabulous.(I want a red dress just like the one that little girl is wearing in the first photo!)
These are as much fun for the people as they are for the great shots of Disneyland.
Oh I gotta agree with the Maj. Hey those other two little buggers are traipsing all around on the landscaping! They keep off of Main Street but wander freely on the grounds. A more uptight and formal or a more casual time? Some of both it would seem...Never seen that Oregon plaque before - thanks! Motto, "The Union." Hm. Thought it was "Oregon Or Bust." hehe. It'd probably be a rather different motto today. And Thimble Drome on the flag and big flag/sign yer right. So was the water fountain sponsored and made by Crane? "The water fountain of the future!"
Took many a drink from that little fountain. It was later removed, and a newer more modern one was put in later.
Great color on all these!
