Classic Polyester: April 1977, Part 4

We’re in Adventureland today, starting with a shot of the entrance to the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. Get those "B" tickets ready! The rest of the post has a number of great color shots from everyone’s favorite Adventureland attraction, The Jungle Cruise!

Fortunately, the pole on the boat is blocking out the nasty feeding scene of the Veldt!

And now, it’s time for the big finish. A fun parade in Town Square with the new Mickey Mouse Club:

Two (from different days) featuring the Horse-Drawn Streetcar:

This shot I can’t place; perhaps it’s off property at another park or at the Disneyland Hotel:

That’s it for this 1970’s tour. Hope you enjoyed it! See more Disneyland Adventureland photos at my website.

I generally am not a fan of parade photos, but I like these "New Mickey Mouse Club" parade pix! Those bright 70's colors.

And that last one is driving me crazy, where could it be?

Love these!!! 1st pic, moms Shades and Jacket are so typical of this period, not to mention kinda nightmare inducing...

Last pic, hmmm. My guess is Marineland, yeah I know... But I seem to recall an area like this in the front, then again, maybe not...

You went to the park over the weekend and are alive to talk about it? Can't wait for your trip report!

Last picture is from Sea World. I am not home right now, but there was a large play ground...when I get home, I will look for the name of the playground.

The last shot appears to be Capt Kidd's playland at Sea World.

Wow, great pictures! That Winnie the Pooh costume has always been interesting to me---I can't remember Pooh walking around with a honey pot on his head in the films. I have an articulated figure of this walk-around (and Tigger and Eeyore) I got from Sears back in the 1980s--I love it.
