Fantasyland Skyway Station, August 1958

Signage, a roundbucket, and no strollers...what more could you ask for in a slide?!?

I have also included a photo of the sign and how it looks today.

See more vintage Disneyland Skyway photos at my main website.

Hi Dave, Beautiful 58’ photo, Signage, a roundbucket, and no strollers, ah, the good life indeed. I can’t believe that pole is still in place - I touched it last time I was there; just to make sure it was real… THANKS for the Posts! Tim

Did Disneyland always have round buckets, or did that change over time to be like WDW's square shape?

Tannerman - the round buckest were replaced with the more "mod" version in 1965 during the park's Tencennial Celebration.

Somehow I missed this post originally! That first shot of the Skyway Chalet is fantastic! One of the best I've ever seen.
