The Mighty Mark Twain Riverboat

It’s out of circulation right now, but don’t count the venerable Riverboat out just yet. Due to reopen May 25, the boat is in Fowler’s Harbor, receiving some much needed attention, and should be back looking better than ever when finished. In the meantime, here are some views from the past, starting off with an undated shot, followed by a 1955 slide taken from the Rivers of America.

Coming in for big finish is a March 1958 overhead view, followed by a larger than normal shot of the band playing at the dock area in an undated slide (Chicken Plantation barely visible in background, and could that be Vesey leading the band?).

See more vintage and contemporary Disneyland Mark Twain photos at my main website.
